Mission Statement
To support women in Glenview and the surrounding area in their personal and spiritual growth.
We accomplish this by:
- creating connections,
- fostering relationships,
- building community,
- identifying spiritual gifts,
- providing useful service for others,
- empowering one another to realize our passions, and
- supporting one another in the unique ways that women do.
Ongoing Groups
Sunday Morning Sermon Discussion Circle – informal weekly drop-in gathering in the Auditorium after the 9:30 service to spiritually connect and further discuss the sermon topic.
Women Unwind – meets weekly for conversation and fellowship on Monday’s at 5:30 pm at Karen Stoeller’s home.
Women’s Group – meets monthly to plan events and activities, read books and watch TED Talks around topic’s of Faith & Belief and enjoy thought provoking discussion and fellowship.
Mission and Service – we support a wide variety of causes with volunteers, dollars and prayer.
Social Group – meets to go to movies, plays, community art fairs, charitable and awareness events; gather for game nights, craft nights; celebrate group birthday’s seasonally and more.
Special Events
Women’s Retreat at Deep Lake, Wisconsin
Friday evening through Sunday lunch, September
A combination spiritual retreat and renewal weekend. This event includes presentations and discussions around a yearly theme, worship and prayer, good food, good fun, and shared outdoor activities. It’s a great opportunity for women ages 18 and up to relax, unwind, and learn and grow spiritually.
