Carols Sunday – December 9
On Sunday, Dec. 9 there will be two services of worship as usual. Both will have shortened messages and an emphasis on Christmas songs. Our 9:30 service will be a “family” service (no Sunday school) so that children have a chance to enjoy all of the singing. 9:30 am Family Worship Service (Auditorium) and 11:00 am Traditional Worship Service (Church Sanctuary)

Christmas Holy Supper Service – December 16
Our Christmas Communion/Holy Supper service will happen on Sunday, December 16 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. It is one of two “full length” _Communion services that we hold each year, the other being on Good Friday. The service has an appropriately shortened message for adults.

“A Child Is Born” Christmas Pageant (Tableaux)
Sunday, December 16, 4:30 p.m.
Bring your entire family to our annual Christmas Pageant and experience the wonder and peace of the season. This stage show includes still-life scenes, Christmas story readings, and singing of some of your favorite Christmas carols. It’s a beautiful event for the whole family.
Gifts will be given to all children in attendance up through eighth grade. You will have an opportunity to give a gift as well–to someone in need. You are invited to bring an unwrapped gift to our Tableaux service as a donation to the Toys for Tots program. Toys for Tots is a program that provides gifts for children in need–children who might not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas time. If you and/or your child(ren) would like to give a gift to this program, just bring it along (unwrapped) to this year’s tableaux service. (Pendleton Hall)

Arcana Christmas Class and Luncheon – Thursday, December 19
Each year the pastor and his wife host a Christmas class and potluck lunch in their home for members of the Arcana Class. Arcana Class is a class for adults that meets once a week to survey the books of the theology of the New Church. Join us at 10:30 a.m. at Mark and Ellen Pendleton’s home.
