Holy Week Services – Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter
Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 20, Festival Worship Service for Families, 11:00 a.m. (Auditorium)
This worship service commemorates Jesus’ ride into Jerusalem. It includes a procession of palms in symbolic recognition of the Lord as our Savior and King. Palm branches are provided at no cost, and the service features a combined talk for children and adults.
Good Friday
Friday, March 25, Communion Service for adults, 7:30 p.m. (Church Sanctuary)
This is an opportunity to come to the table with the Lord – to feel His presence, to gain His help and power in your personal efforts to grow spiritually, and to be strengthened by Him in a life of goodness and truth.
Easter Sunday
Sunday, March 27, Festival Worship for Families 11:00 a.m. (Auditorium)
This service celebrates the Lord’s rising on Easter morning into full divine power—the power to help people of all faiths and cultures make life choices that they truly care about. “All power has been given to Me in heaven and on earth….” Our festival service for families includes a floral procession, and people are welcome to bring flowers as an offering for the occasion. The spiritual message is a combined talk for children and adults.
Following the service our Sunshine Rays will distribute the flowers/plants to our friends living in nursing homes, assisted living or who may be homebound. You may also bring non-perishable food items for the Northfield Township Food Pantry.
