Thanksgiving Services – Glenview Interfaith and Thanksgiving Day

 

All of our Worship Services will be In-Person and Live-Streamed throughout the Holiday Season.

 

 

 

Tuesday, November 23
Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

The annual Glenview Interfaith Thanksgiving service will happen Tuesday evening, November 23 at 7:30pm at the Glenview New Church. This year’s keynote speaker will be the Rev. Mark Pendleton. The service will be in-person and also live streamed. Masks will be required for in-person attendance. You can watch the stream live or after the fact by going to the GNC’s website (www.glenviewnewchurch.org), tapping on the “Worship with Us” tab, and clicking on the link on that page. There will be a monetary offering collected. It will be divided equally between Wesley Child Care, Glenview Youth Services, and Character Counts in Glenview. A food offertory will be taken as well. It will go the Northfield Township Food Pantry. All are encouraged to bring staple food, pet food, or household supplies for donation to the Pantry. In addition, food and money offerings can be dropped off in advance (M – F 8am-4pm or left at the brown, wooden doors/put through the mail slot). 

Thursday, November 25
Thanksgiving Day Family Service

The Thanksgiving service will be held at 11am on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 25 in the Auditorium. The service will include a fruit offering that will be donated to the Northfield Township Food Pantry. Non-perishable food items will also be accepted.
