You are warmly invited to the Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at St. David’s Church, 2410 Glenview Road on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:30pm. Participation in the choir is open to all and Bonny Lundin-Scheer is organizing a group from our church, see Bonny for details. Choir members will gather at St. David’s at 6:30 on the evening of the service to review music and practice. The collected monetary offering will be divided equally among the Wesley Child Care, Glenview Youth Services, and the Northfield Township Food Pantry. All are encouraged to bring staple food, pet food, or household supplies for donation to the Northfield Township Food Pantry (for a list of needed items, visit www.twp.northfield.il.us/pantry.html).

Thursday, November 24

Our Thanksgiving Family Festival Service will take place on Thursday, November 24 at 11am in the Auditorium. The service will include a fruit and non-perishable food offering for donation to a local Meal Kitchen and the Northfield Township Food Pantry. Preaching: Rev. Mac Frazier

Sunday, November 27

There will be one combined worship service on Sunday, November 27 at 9:30am in the Church Sanctuary. All are welcome to celebrate the-Sunday-after-Thanksgiving together in our beautiful traditional worship space.Preaching: Rev. Mark Pendleton

Then you are invited to a “Trim-the-Tree Party” right after the combined 9:30 service.  Children are invited to decorate the Christmas tree. We will have projects that adults can help out with such as creating decorations for around the hurricane lamps with greens, bows and pinecones. The bigger items will already be hung up, so this event will hopefully be the fun finishing touches. (Erika Horigan)
