Sunday School

We welcome and support young families at the Glenview New Church!

The Glenvi1167588_685651201493801_5712971379454144421_oew New Church offers a Sunday School program for children, and young people through 8th grade. This program happens during the adult portion of our 9:30 Contemporary Worship Service. Children and youths learn stories and lessons from Scripture in age appropriate ways, including activities, projects, community service, and discussions. Our Sunday School programs begin each year after Labor Day and end on the Sunday before Memorial Day. During the summer months our Sunday School teachers take a rest from their work, and the 9:30 service becomes a Family Service offering a combined talk for children and adults. (Please see Worship Services for more information about our worship services.)

Land of Canaan, Young Group: Kindergarten to 4th grade
Travelers, Older Group: 5th to 8th grade

Noah’s Ark Infant Room

During the 9:30 Service parents of infants and young children are welcome to utilize the Noah’s Ark Infant Room and Lake Lounge located adjacent to the Auditorium. The rooms feature windows to the Auditorium and are equipped with audio feed from the service. We offer comfortable seating, books and toys for parents to share with their young children while enjoying the atmosphere of the service.

Nursery – Infants to 4 year olds

Our Nursery is staffed during the adult message of the 9:30 am service. Families with young children are welcome to leave with the children when dismissed for Sunday School classes to meet the Nursery leader in the Assembly Hall. The Nursery is located downstairs in the room adjacent to the Youth Center. Parents can then return to the Auditorium to enjoy the adult sermon message. Children are picked-up at the Nursery room following the service.
