Volunteer opportunities at the Glenview New Church include acts of service for the wider community, leading your own spiritual growth group, starting or joining a community club of your interest, coordinating church gatherings, helping with holiday pageants and decorating, helping with our school events, serving on committees, serving on the board of directors, and many other things.
The church also relies on a host of volunteers to keep Sunday worship running smoothly. You could volunteer to help out with Sunday services by:
- Greeting people
- Serving as an usher
- Contributing and/or arranging flowers
- Lighting candles and taking care of the chancel
- Helping out with the recording and live streaming of the service
- Setting up the refreshments table
- leading an after service club or group
